What to visit and do in Spain

Spain is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world. It is famous for its coasts and beaches, but also for its rural and mountain tourism, for its gastronomy and culture, and because it has a pleasant climate and temperature.

Spain offers many activities, with beach tourism being the most popular. This country has numerous coasts, such as the Costa del Sol or Costa Brava, where, in addition to enjoying the beaches, tourists can visit the coastal towns and try the local gastronomy, based on the Mediterranean diet.

In addition to the coastal landscapes, Spain, the second country in the world with the most spaces declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, has a great variety of natural areas, from lakes, mountains and forests to volcanoes, marshes and cliffs. This wide and varied geography allows tourists to enjoy a wide array of activities related to rural tourism and nature.

Zaragoza is located in a strategic point halfway between the two main cities of Spain: Madrid and Barcelona. These two very different cities offer tourists numerous tours and visits. Madrid, a traditional city, stands out for its rich culture thanks to the presence of museums such as the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofia or the Thyssen-Bornemisza and famous monuments such as the Royal Palace, the Plaza Mayor and the Almudena Cathedral. In contrast, Barcelona offers a more cosmopolitan and modern atmosphere, with buildings that showcase the famous architecture of Gaudí, the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas.
